Nepal is the country we plan from memory. We know which rooftop in Pokhara catches the last light on Machapuchare, which bakery in Namche opens first, and which quiet courtyard in Patan still smells of butter lamps at seven in the morning.
Nepal is where it all begins for us. It is our home, and the place we know street by street and trail by trail. You can stand under the prayer flags at Boudhanath in the morning, wander the old courtyards of Kathmandu in the afternoon, and watch the light change on the Annapurnas from a rooftop in Pokhara by evening.
Whether you want to trek toward Everest, fly over the high peaks, or simply slow down beside Phewa Lake, we build the days around how you like to travel. Comfortable lodges, the right guides, and enough time to actually take it in.

What we plan here
- Everest and Annapurna treks
- Kathmandu valley heritage
- Pokhara and Phewa Lake
- Private mountain flights

THE SHAPE OF THE DAYS
Nine days toward Everest
A gentle route to the closest view of the highest place on earth, with acclimatisation built into every day. This is one shape the trip can take. Yours will be its own.
DAY 01
Arrive in Kathmandu
We meet you at the airport and settle you into a quiet heritage hotel in Patan. Evening walk to the Golden Temple, then dinner close by.
SLEEPS AT Kathmandu, 1,400 mDAY 02
The valley, slowly
Morning at Boudhanath with the first circuit of pilgrims, afternoon in the courtyards of Bhaktapur. Your guide chooses the hours when the light is kind and the crowds are thin.
SLEEPS AT Kathmandu, 1,400 mDAY 03
Fly to Lukla, walk to Phakding
The mountain flight threads between ridges to the most famous short runway in the world. An easy first walk along the Dudh Koshi river to loosen your legs.
SLEEPS AT Phakding, 2,610 mDAY 04
Climb to Namche
The trail crosses high suspension bridges strung with prayer flags, then rises through pine forest. Namche appears all at once, a horseshoe of lodges facing the peaks.
SLEEPS AT Namche Bazaar, 3,440 mDAY 05
Rest day that is not a rest day
Acclimatisation means walking high and sleeping low. We climb to the Everest View Hotel for lunch at 3,880 metres, where Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam line the horizon.
SLEEPS AT Namche Bazaar, 3,440 mDAY 06
Khumjung and the long view
A quiet loop through Khumjung village, past the school Hillary built, with time for tea wherever a kitchen is warm. The afternoon is yours.
SLEEPS AT Namche Bazaar, 3,440 mDAY 07
Walk back down to Lukla
Downhill through everything you earned on the way up. It feels like a different valley in this direction.
SLEEPS AT Lukla, 2,860 mDAY 08
Return to Kathmandu
Fly back after breakfast. The afternoon is for the last unhurried things, a massage, a bookshop, one more plate of momos.
SLEEPS AT Kathmandu, 1,400 mDAY 09
Depart, or do not
We drive you to the airport, or we keep going. Pokhara and the lake are a short flight west, and we planned for that possibility too.
SLEEPS AT Kathmandu, 1,400 m
You do not climb to see Everest. You walk toward it slowly, and one morning it is simply there.
